Experience

My career in software development began in 2006, working on the development and maintenance of enterprise applications for a company focused on transportation fleet management. During those early years, I built a strong foundation in Microsoft technologies, databases, and systems designed to support operational business needs.

I later joined AFP Cuprum, one of Chile's pension fund administrators, where I worked across several business areas including retirement operations, taxation, investments, and web platforms. This stage allowed me to gain firsthand experience with the complexity of financial systems and understand how technology supports critical processes within large organizations. In addition to strengthening my technical skills, I began developing a broader perspective on the relationship between technology, processes, and business.

Afterward, I worked on projects within the insurance industry before joining Lagash, a regional technology consulting company. There, I had the opportunity to work with clients across multiple industries, including healthcare, banking, retail, and financial services. During those years, I participated in a wide variety of initiatives, ranging from specialized search engines built with Lucene.NET to banking mobile applications, corporate expense management platforms, and microservices-based architectures.

This period was particularly important in my professional growth. Working across different projects, industries, and teams allowed me to expand my technical expertise, adapt quickly to new challenges, and gain exposure to different approaches to software development. It was also where my interest in software architecture began to take shape, along with a desire to understand systems beyond individual features or components.

In 2019, I joined Tanner as a Senior Software Developer. During this period, I participated in strategic initiatives for the organization, including technology integration projects between Tanner and Nissan. Over time, I assumed leadership responsibilities and later moved into the role of Software Development Manager, leading multiple engineering teams through their respective technical leads.

In addition to team leadership responsibilities, I was actively involved in architecture decisions, technology planning, and the coordination of cross-functional initiatives throughout the organization. I also had the opportunity to temporarily lead a broader structure that included software development, user experience, quality assurance, and project management teams. This experience strengthened my understanding of how technology organizations operate and scale.

From 2022 to 2026, I was part of Galileo Financial Technologies LATAM, formerly Technisys, serving as a Technical Lead. My responsibilities combined technical leadership, software architecture, and the mentoring of development teams responsible for building and evolving digital platforms for regional clients.

One of the most significant initiatives during this period was Easy24, Pernod Ricard's B2B platform for distributor sales and operations. I contributed to solution architecture, environment management, deployment processes, automation, observability, and cross-team technical coordination. This experience provided end-to-end exposure to the lifecycle of large-scale platforms, from architectural design and implementation to production operations and continuous improvement.

Throughout my career, I have evolved from roles focused exclusively on software development into positions that combine technical leadership, architecture, and team enablement. At the same time, I have always tried to remain close to technology by actively contributing to solution design, complex problem-solving, and important technical decisions.

Today, I particularly enjoy working at the intersection of people, technology, and business, helping build sustainable systems and empowering teams to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
